What’s the Scuba Diver Course?
Short on time but eager to get certified? The Scuba Diver course is the perfect halfway step towards becoming a fully qualified diver. It gives you the essential training to dive safely up to 12 metres, under the direct supervision of a dive professional – anywhere in the world. You’ll build confidence with core skills, gain a globally recognised certification, and lay the foundations for your full Open Water qualification.
What to Expect
Online or In-Person Theory – Learn the basics of scuba diving, equipment, and safety
Confined Water Training – Practice key skills in a controlled environment like a pool
Open Water Dives – Two ocean dives with your instructor, exploring depths of up to 12m
Certification – Once completed, you’ll receive your SSI Scuba Diver card, recognised worldwide
Who’s it for?
Anyone aged 10 and over can take part in the Scuba Diver course. It’s ideal if you’re short on time or not quite ready to commit to the full Open Water course. This option is also perfect for holidaymakers or anyone looking for a simple, accessible way to start their scuba diving journey.
How It Works
Once you have paid for this product, we will contact you to confirm your details and set you up with an SSI account affiliated with our dive centre. We will release the course academics to your SSI account so you can begin studying, and we will arrange your in-person diver training.
