This package provides academic training and certification credit only, allowing you to complete all theory online before booking your practical dives with any SSI Dive Centre. You can study at your own pace and schedule the in-water sessions whenever you’re ready, at a location that suits you. If you choose to complete your practical training with us, the amount you’ve already paid will be deducted from the full course price.
This package will give you access to SSI’s digital learning platform, which covers all required knowledge through videos, written modules, and interactive quizzes. The materials can be accessed on multiple devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and desktops.
Open Water Diver
What You’ll Learn Online:
This globally recognised diving certification provides you with all the essential scuba-diving knowledge required for the practical part of your course. The digital learning platform delivers interactive content and includes review questions to help you test your knowledge. You can learn at your own pace, and the online training will prepare you for your pool and open-water sessions when you are ready.
- Basic scuba theory, including pressure, buoyancy, and how your body responds underwater
- How dive equipment works and how to choose, assemble, and care for your gear
- Essential safety skills, including equalization, buddy procedures, and problem-prevention

The academic training is the first step in your scuba journey, to begin your eLearning you'll need to create a free SSI account affiliated with our dive centre, so that you can access the learning platform/app. Please use this link  here  to create your SSI account. Once your SSI account is set up and you have paid for this product, we will release the course materials to you. You can then complete your digital self-study at your own pace and finish the theory modules before starting your practical sessions.
