Who We Are
Newhaven Scuba Centre is a friendly and active dive club and training centre on the South Coast of England. Based in Newhaven, weโre all about real diving – training new divers, taking certified ones out every week on our own boat, and building a welcoming community of passionate underwater explorers.
Why Dive With Us
Because we actually dive. We donโt just run courses – we dive year-round from our own boat, organise regular UK and overseas trips, and offer a vibrant club scene to keep you in the water and connected. Whether you’re brand new to diving or looking for a home base to keep progressing, this is the place.
We believe the best way to learn is one-to-one, at your pace. Everyone learns differently, and we get that – so we tailor our courses and teaching to suit you. We’re with you every step of the way.

Our Instructors & Training
All our instructors are SSI-certified dive professionals with enhanced DBS checks. Theyโre experienced, passionate divers dedicated to making your learning safe, fun, and accessible. Formerly a PADI centre, we switched to SSI to offer a more flexible, modern training experience. With SSIโs globally recognised certifications and personalised approach, we can tailor your journey to suit your pace and goals.
