This is a performance-based course, not time-based. Pricing will be agreed with you in advance and will depend on your diving experience.

This course goes beyond basic training – it’s about becoming self-reliant underwater while reinforcing safety, situational awareness, and advanced dive planning techniques. Perfect for photographers, dive professionals, or anyone who wants to dive solo in specific situations.

What to Expect

Theory Sessions – Learn self-sufficiency, gas management, dive planning, equipment redundancy, and emergency procedures
Confined Water Practice – Sharpen core skills and prepare for solo dive scenarios
Open Water Dives – Complete your training with real-world dives under instructor supervision
Certification – Earn your SSI Independent Diver card, recognised worldwide.

Who’s It For?

You must be at least 18 years old and an Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with a minimum of 75 logged dives. This course is for confident, experienced divers who want to expand their capabilities and explore the water on their own terms.
